प्रमुख स्थल
1) जहाजगढ़ :-
एक आयरिश साहसिक जॉर्ज थॉमस ने 18 वी सदी के अंत मे यहाँ एक किला बनवाया था जिसका नाम जॉर्जगढ़ रखा। बाद में इसका नाम बदलकर जहाजगढ़ हो गया। यहां वार्षिक पशु मेले का आयोजन भी किया जाता है।
2) बहादुरगढ़ :-
इसकी स्थापना राठी जाटों द्वारा की गई। पहले इसे शराफाबाद के नाम से जाना जाता था। मुगल शासक आलमगीर द्वितीय ने उसे फरुखनगर के दो बलूची बहादुर खा ओर तेज खां को 1755 ई० में जागीर के रूप में दे दिया था। उन्होंने यहाँ एक किला बनवाया जिसका नाम बहादुरगढ़ रखा। वर्तमान में यह ओधोगिक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित हो गया है।
3) ठाकुर द्वार :-
यह झज्जर ( Jhajjar ) जिले के कुतानी गांव में स्थित है। इसे इस जिले का प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल माना जाता है।
4) संग्रहालय :-
यह राज्य का सबसे बड़ा संग्रहालय है। इसकी स्थापना 1959 में कई गई थी, जिसमे संग्रहालय के निदेशक ओमानन्द सरस्वती ने देश व विदेश की कई दुर्लभ वस्तुएं संग्रहित की है। इसमें देश के विभिन्न राजा महाराजाओं की कलाकृतियां तथा मुद्राएँ देखने को मिलती है।
5) भीमेस्वरी देवी मंदिर :-
बेरी गांव में स्थापित यह मंदिर अति प्राचीन है। कहा जाता है कि इस मंदिर का सम्बंध महाभारत काल से है। नवरात्रि के समय इस प्रसिद्ध मंदिर पर मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है।
6) बुआ का गुबंद :-
झज्जर ( Jhajjar ) नगर में स्थित इस गुबंद का निर्माण मुस्तफा करनोल की बेटी बुआ ने अपने प्रेमी की याद में करवाया था। इस गुबंद के पास एक भव्य तालाब का निर्माण भी करवाया था।
7) बेरी :-
बेरी जिला झज्जर ( Jhajjar ) का एक प्राचीन कस्बा है। यह तालाबों, विशाल हवेलियों तथा मंदिरों के लिए प्रसिद्ध रहा है। बेरी में नवनिर्मित व प्राचीनतम 80 मन्दिर है। इनमे से एक मंदिर भीमेश्वरी देवी तो महाभारत काल से अपना सम्बन्ध रखता है।
बेरी के हर मन्दिर का अपना कोई न कोई इतिहास है। इनमे लाल रूढमल मन्दिर भी अतीत की धरोहर है।

1) भीमेस्वरी का मेला :-
यह मेला बेरी नामक स्थान पर नवरात्रि के दिनों में लगता है।
2) गुगा नवमी के मेला :-
यह मेला झज्जर जिले के बादली नामक स्थान पर लगता है।
3) बाबा बूढा का मेला :-
झज्जर जिले के आसौदा नामक स्थान पर सितम्बर – अक्टूबर माह में इस मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है।
4) बाबा गन्तिदास का मेला :-
यह मेला छुड़ानी नामक स्थान पर फरवरी – मार्च में आयोजित किया जाता है।
5) श्यामजी का मेला :-
यह मेला झज्जर जिले के दूबलधन माजरा में फाल्गुन शुक्ल पक्ष द्वादशी में लगाया जाता है।
वन्य जीव अभ्यारण
भिंडावास पक्षी विहार – इसे 3 जून, 200 9 को भारत सरकार द्वारा एक पक्षी अभयारण्य के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। जवाहरलाल नेहरू नहर के अतिरिक्त पानी को स्टोर करने के लिए इसका निर्माण किया गया। भिंड़वास अभयारण्य लगभग 1074 एकड़ के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है।
भिंडवास का दौरा करने के कई कारण हैं, मुख्य रूप से कोई भी इसकी सड़क के साथ कई एकड़ मे फैले पीले सरसों के मैदानों को देख सकता है, यहां तक कि कोई भी अभयारण्य तक पहुंचने से पहले एक नहर के पास पानी के पक्षियों की अनगिनत प्रजातियों को देख सकता है और, अंत में, इस यात्रा में बहुत अधिक पैदल चलना शामिल नहीं है। एक 12 किमी वाहन ट्रैक झील के चारों ओर जाता है।
खपरवास वन्यजीव अभयारण्य – यह वन्यजीव अभयारण्य प्रवासी पक्षियों के विभिन्न प्रकारों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यह झज्जर जिले में भिण्डावास वन्यजीव से मात्र 1.5 किमी की दूरी पर अवस्थित है।
पर्यावरण एवं प्रदूषण के दृष्टिकोण से यह संवेदनशील क्षेत्र के तहत आता है।
यह अभ्यारण्य 204. 36 एकड़ में विस्तृत है। वर्ष 1991 में इसे मान्यता प्रदान की गई।

इनका जन्म झज्जर ( Jhajjar ) में हुआ था। ये हिन्दू महासभा के संस्थापक सदस्य थे।
पंडित श्रीराम शर्मा :-
इनका जन्म 1 अक्टूबर 1899 को झज्जर में हुआ था। कांग्रेस के सभी पांच सत्याग्रहों में भाग लेने के कारण ये सात वर्षों तक कारावास में रहे।
इन्होंने वर्ष 1923 में रोहतक से आजादी के समर्थन में उर्दू और हिन्दी मे ‘हरियाणा तिलक‘ नामक साप्ताहिक पत्र निकाला और ‘हरियाणा का इतिहास‘ तथा ‘हरियाणा के नवरतन‘ का लेखन कार्य किया।
