अगर अपने सपने के लिए सही लगन और ईमानदारी हो तो कोई भी मंजिल नामुमकिन नहीं होती। इस बात को सिद्ध किया है असम के बाजलि शहर के रहने वाले 24 वर्षीय राहुल दास ने। राहुल की मां यहां चाय की दुकान चलाती हैं, राहुल भी अपनी मां के साथ इस दुकान में हाथ बंटाते हैं। काम के साथ पढ़ाई करना इतना आसान तो नहीं था, लेकिन फिर भी राहुल ने अपनी मेहनत और लगन के दम पर पहले अटेम्पट में ही नीट की परीक्षा पास कर ली है। राहुल को दिल्ली एम्स में सीट अलॉट हुई है।
पिता ने बचपन में हीं छोड़ा था साथ
राहुल के पिता ने 11 साल पहले ही उनका साथ छोड़ दिया था। उनकी मां ने अकेले ही राहुल और उनके भाई का पालन पोषण किया। गरीबी के कारण उन्हें 12वीं के बाद पढ़ाई भी छोड़नी पड़ी। लेकिन उन्होंने डॉक्टर बनने का सपना नहीं छोड़ा। दास ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी मां को कड़ी मेहनत करते हुए देखा था। वह दुकान पर सहायक नहीं रख सकते थे, इस कारण वह पढ़ाई के बीच में खुद ही चाय बनाने और परोसने का काम किया करते थे।
पैसों के कारण पढ़ाई छूटी
राहुल दास ने साल 2015 में उच्च माध्यमिक परीक्षा पास की थी, लेकिन पैसे कमाने के लिए उन्हें पढ़ाई छोड़नी पड़ी। हालांकि, पढ़ाई के लिए उनके मन में हमेशा ही इच्छा रही। इस कारण उन्होंने दो साल बाद सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पेट्रोकेमिकल्स इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (CIPET)में प्लास्टिक इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा करने के लिए प्रवेश लिया। यहां तीन साल बाद उन्होंने डिस्टिंक्शन (85 प्रतिशत अंक) के साथ सफलता प्राप्त की और साल 2020 में गुवाहाटी की ही एक एमएनसी में क्वालिटी इंजीनियर’ के रूप में काम शुरू किया।
नौकरी से नहीं मिली संतुष्टि
दास ने बताया कि उन्हें नौकरी से संतोष नहीं मिल पाया। वह, हमेशा से ही डॉक्टर बनना चाहते थे। इसके बाद उन्होंने नौकरी छोड़कर नीट की तैयारी शुरू की। उनके पास किताबों के लिए पैसे नहीं थे, इसलिए ऑनलाइन माध्यम का सहारा लिया। इसके बाद दास ने पहली बार में नीट की परीक्षा में सफल होकर 12,068वां स्थान प्राप्त किया। उनके एससी और दिव्यांगता के सर्टिफिकेट ने भी एम्स में स्थान प्राप्त करने में उनकी मदद की।
कई लोगों ने की मदद
अपनी बात खत्म करते हुए राहुल ने बताया कि उनकी मां मंटू कुमार शर्मा की जमीन पर अपनी दुकान चलाती है। उनके पास हार्डवेयर की एक बड़ी दुकान है। मंटू ने कभी भी उनकी मां से किराया नहीं लिया और अभी दिल्ली जाने के लिए मेरा टिकट भी कराया है। राहुल ने बताया कि उनका परिवार जिला उपायुक्त भारत भूषण देवचौधरी के परिसर के पास रहता है। देवचौधरी ने भी उनकी काफी मदद की है। भारत भूषण देवचौधरी से जब संपर्क किया गया तो उन्होंने भी बताया कि राहुल का परिवार पटाचरकुची में उनके पुश्तैनी घर के परिसर में रहता है। हालांकि, इसके लिए उन्होंने कभी किराया नहीं लिया। असम सरकार में मंत्री रंजीत कुमार दास भी दो दिन पहले राहुल की दुकान पर पहुंचे और राहुल को दस हजार रुपये दिए। राहुल ने इन सभी को धन्यवाद बोला है।
राज्य सरकार उठाएगी पढ़ाई का खर्च
असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने शुक्रवार को घोषणा की है कि राहुल की पढ़ाई का पूरा खर्च अब राज्य सरकार उठाएगी। राहुल अब दिल्ली में अपने उज्जवल भविष्य की ओर देख रहे हैं। उनका सत्र जून महीने से शुरू होने वाला है।
