वित्तमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण (FM Nirmala Sitharaman) ने बुधवार सुबह आम बजट 2023 पेश किया तो सबसे बड़ी राहत करदाताओं को मिली. करीब 8 साल से टैक्स छूट बढ़ाए जाने की उम्मीद लगाए बैठे करदाताओं को बड़ी राहत दी गई है.
वित्तमंत्री ने कहा कि नए टैक्स रेजीम में अब 7 लाख रुपये तक कमाई पर कोई टैक्स नहीं देना होगा.
अभी तक नए और पुराने टैक्स स्लैब में रिबेट की लिमिट 5 लाख रुपये थी, जिसे 2 लाख बढ़ाकर 7 लाख कर दिया गया है. इसका मतलब हुआ कि अब 7 लाख रुपये की कमाई तक कोई टैक्स नहीं देना होगा. रिबेट के अलावा टैक्स पर सीधी छूट भी 50 हजार रुपये बढ़ा दी है. यानी पहले जहां 2.5 लाख तक की सीधी टैक्स छूट थी, वह अब 3 लाख रुपये कर दिया गया है.
स्लैब के रेट में भी बदलाव
सरकार ने टैक्स स्लैब के रेट में भी बदलाव किया है. अब टैक्स की सीधी छूट 2.5 लाख से बढ़ाकर 3 लाख कर दी है. 3 से 6 लाख तक की कमाई पर 5 फीसदी और 6 से 9 लाख तक की कमाई पर 10 फीसदी टैक्स देना होगा. इसके अलावा 9 से 12 लाख तक 15 फीसदी टैक्स लगेगा तो 12 से 15 लाख तक की कमाई पर 20 फीसदी इनकम टैक्स देना होगा. 15 लाख से ज्यादा कमाई हो रही तो 30 फीसदी के स्लैब में आएंगे.
स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन नए रेजीम में भी शामिल
वित्तमंत्री ने इस बार बजट में नए टैक्स रेजीम को आकर्षक बनाने में कोई कोर कसर नहीं छोड़ी है. इसके लिए नए टैक्स रेजीम में भी अब इसे बढ़ाकर 52,500 हजार का स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन दिया जाएगा. यानी नौकरीपेशा व्यक्ति अगर नया टैक्स रेजीम चुनता है तो भी उसे स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन का लाभ दिया जाएगा.
